Happy with the IoM Dental service?

The government close their consultation on an 'Oral Health Strategy for the Isle of Man' in a few days (November 8th).

It is vitally important that we make our feelings know on what this writer considers to be one of the most neglected and appalling services provided by Government.

The consultation document itself is riddled with self-evident grandoise statements without saying very much on how improvements are likely to occur.

At our meeting last Monday, Colin Partington made reference to an independent review of English NHS dental services last year (attached below). I've just read it and it makes absolute sense. Unfortunately our government make no reference to this document whatsoever in their consultation. They seem all too willing to adopt UK legislation without a murmur, but appear to not want to invest the time in learning obvious lessons from there.
