PUBLIC MEETING

"The Chief Minister should be Elected by the People"

A Debate

Alf Cannan MHK (FOR)

Juan Watterson MHK (AGAINST)

   Justice-Not-Blind

7:30pm Monday 27th October 2014

Manx Legion Club, Market Hill, Douglas

By the time of the next IOM General Election (September 2016) three of the core principles of the PAG Charter will have been achieved - a Freedom of Information Act, equality of representation in each constituency and a reduction in the number of Government Departments.

This debate will concentrate on one more of these principles - the popular election of the Chief Minister.

Two forthright politicians, each with strongly held views, will debate the issue and as usual invite contributions from the audience - it could be quite lively!

PAG public meetings are always free and open to all!
