I agree with your statement "The tax cap deliberately creates a division which does not accord with the aim of sustaining an egalitarian society."
At the Liberal Democrat Party Conference there will be a call for a tax on the wealthy - please take note Mr Robertshaw!

I would like to say thanks to you for conducting the
recent PAG meeting on Social Policy Consultation,it was a much more lively and interesting event than the prior presentation at the Museum lecture theatre.

I would also add that I share concerns about the manner in which the DoSC have presented this consultation, and the leading nature of the consultation document questionnaire.

I am disappointed that Government seem to be targeting the welfare system in such a narrowly focused, blinkered fashion, I therefore stand in support of the views made in the PAG's submission to the consultation document.
